A rare combination of grandeur, elegance history and privacy nestling deep in the Norman countryside

The Chateau is a short drive from the Channel ports and Paris, yet a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As you drive through the gates of the 350 acre private estate and cross the moat to the inner courtyard, the only sound you will hear is the wind in the trees and birdsong. The house was built to impress and entertain, it does both. Inspired by Versailles the Chateau and estate offer guests a rare combination of privacy, elegance, history and modern comforts.

Description

Deciding to marry is proof of love, a grandiose act. To celebrate this event as it should be, choose a prestigious setting. The Chateau offers you all the luxury you deserve. Because you will be the king and queen of this great day, receive your guests in a sumptuous establishment. The Château was recently renovated by it’s American owner to offer all the conveniences of modern living whilst retaining the elegance and beauty of an 18th century way of life. As you walk through the glazed entrance doors to the reception hall you will be transported back to another era. The ground floor rooms are filled with light, with sun pouring in through the huge windows. One room spills into another, a design feature that the French call 'en filade', inviting guests to explore.... The large dining room overlooks the moat and farmland beyond and is lit with fine crystal chandeliers. From here, doors lead to the sitting room and library, which on cool mornings is warmed by a crackling log fire. All public rooms and en-suite bedrooms offer fine, uninterrupted views over the park or farmland that surround the Chateau.

The estate is very private and can be exclusively yours, our minimum stay is three nights and our minimum price is based on 15 guests. For larger groups please contact Beatrice for a tailor made quote. We offer 24 hour, on site security and the Château, Orangerie, Farmhouse and park offer our couples an endless range of possibilities regarding the organisation of a wedding and the after party. The only limit will be your imagination: dine alfresco under the Linden trees or in the Cour D’honneur; exchange vows on the bridge over the moat, feast and dance in style in a stretch tent on the lawn or perhaps a formal wedding breakfast in the large dining room? The choice is yours. Need more space? The Orangerie is just a short stroll from the main house and is perfect for a small banquet or dancing, and the adjacent walled garden is ideal for barbecues, games or just chilling out with friends and family. The farmhouse offers extra accommodation too.

Some venues will leave you on your own once you have booked but that isn’t how we work. Our on site, bilingual team will provide you with discrete and dedicated support. They know the Chateau and have experience in event preparation and planning. We know that no two weddings are alike and so we are very flexible in terms of the help we offer, leaving couples free to design and curate the wedding of their dreams. We have no curfews, don’t charge corkage and our list of recommended suppliers is just that; our couples are free to work with the suppliers of their choice.

As a venue our aim is simple - that you, your friends and family enjoy a flawless event filled with love, laughter and smiles. We look forward to hearing from you!

Normandy French Wedding VenuesNormandy is the land of the plenty. It shares a border with Brittany and it is also known as being the friendliest corner of France as well.

If you have heard of Camembert then this is its home. If you want to get married in a land of history and culture then this is the right destination for you. It is home to Rouen and Caen, and as if that wasn’t enough, you also have one of the most iconic landmarks in the area. You have Mont St Michel and this is a medieval abbey that actually happens to rise out of the ocean.

You also have some of the finest, most scenic buildings and it really is spectacular to say the least. If you want to get married in a building that will take your breath away as soon as you walk in then this is certainly the right place for you and Normandy is great for first-time visitors to France. It is so easy to get to and there are plenty of trains that run through the area as well, so you and your guests will never have a hard time getting to your wedding venue or even to your reception.

Reviews

  • We had our wedding at the chateau and we could not have asked for a more magical experience. The Chateau itself has undergone major renovations and is simply a dream. Every detail of it is perfection.

In addition, the hospitality and service we experienced were unlike any other. When we were in the process of booking, Mariah was amazing and ensured we had all the details clearly explained and so prompt to respond to any questions. Heather was an absolute gem before and during our stay. She ensured all our questions were answered and truly helped make sure we were worry-free during our weekend. and Everything related to billing was perfect!

I’m already planning my 5 year anniversary to be at the Chateau again :)

Thank you for making our wedding a moment we will never forget!

  • Absolutely stunning in every respect. It’s part flashy, part rustic, part beauty. The owners have remodeled key aspects to accommodate guests (bathrooms, kitchen, conference room), but other rooms, such as the library, resonate with time and beauty from centuries past. I cannot recommend this enough!
