Description

The owners of this beautiful chateau estate, dating back to the 16th century and listed as a historical monument, have created a truly warm, welcoming environment in which to celebrate your wedding in France.

You will be captivated the moment you enter at the old gatehouse and get your first glimpse of the chateau at the end of the majestic poplar alley.

A haven of peace and tranquillity, stroll through the 22 hectare park where the only noises you will hear are the rustling of the trees and the singing of the birds! You will discover endless picturesque back-drops for unforgettable wedding photos.

There is a lovely chapel for the wedding ceremony and the rustic farmyard and cider house is the perfect spot for a cocktail reception. And for your celebratory dinner the charming old farm building has been transformed to create a large, characterful reception hall with a great view of the chateau. Or, of course, you can also dine outdoors in the chateau gardens making this the perfect French wedding venue for your dream day.

There is accommodation for up to 45 people with beautiful bedroom suites in the chateau and estate guesthouses, including what was originally the old bakery. You can still see the original ovens!

Location

Normandy French Wedding VenuesNormandy is the land of the plenty. It shares a border with Brittany and it is also known as being the friendliest corner of France as well.

If you have heard of Camembert then this is its home. If you want to get married in a land of history and culture then this is the right destination for you. It is home to Rouen and Caen, and as if that wasn’t enough, you also have one of the most iconic landmarks in the area. You have Mont St Michel and this is a medieval abbey that actually happens to rise out of the ocean.

You also have some of the finest, most scenic buildings and it really is spectacular to say the least. If you want to get married in a building that will take your breath away as soon as you walk in then this is certainly the right place for you and Normandy is great for first-time visitors to France. It is so easy to get to and there are plenty of trains that run through the area as well, so you and your guests will never have a hard time getting to your wedding venue or even to your reception.

Reviews

  • We are very happy to have chosen the Château to organize our wedding. The castle, the Chapel and the park are magnificent, the gites and rooms delighted our guests, let us emphasize the quality of the beds. We were able to organize our secular ceremony and cocktail in the annex buildings in complete privacy, and enjoy the park on Sunday during brunch. Since the first visit with the owners, they have always been available and attentive. We recommend this magnificent place for your weddings. Good luck, look forward to coming back for our wedding anniversaries.

  • We recently held our wedding in the beautiful grounds of this Chateau and we cannot put into words how amazing our wedding weekend was. It would not have been the same without the help and support from the amazing family who own the Chateau (and of course their gorgeous dogs).

We had 38 of our immediate friends and family staying at the Chateau with us for bed and breakfast for 3 nights. The rooms have all been renovated with en suites and are modern and clean but maintain the chateaus character by each being decorated differently and with their own character.

Depending on which part of the Chateau you stay in, breakfast is brought to you each morning. If you stay in the Chateau itself or the gatehouse you get to eat breakfast in the lovely kitchen within the Chateau.

We cannot thank the owners enough for inviting us into their home and allowing us to use it as if it were our own for the duration of the weekend for our wedding. We will definitely be returning to this special place again one day.
