This beautiful French Maison is an idyllic events venue in the stunning Dordogne region of France and has been set up to be a family-friendly, glamorous, stylish, and vibrant venue. This beautiful home and grounds are located in the picturesque and sunny South West region of France. The Dordogne is a popular destination in France known for its outstanding cuisine, rolling hills, vineyards, historic chateaux, bastide villages, and the Dordogne River.
At over 650 m2, this beautiful French Maison is a large property made up of a main house, grand salon, guest wing, a gite with two en-suite double bedrooms, and a tower. There are also three additional large ensuite bedrooms, and a double bedroom in the main house, accommodating 12 guests in total. Guests have access to a swimming pool, which features a BBQ, terrace and pool bar, ideal for a brunch or pool party the day following your wedding. Sun-loungers are also provided.
Set in just over five hectares (12.5 acres) of beautiful grounds in the countryside, this Beautiful French Maison is very private and has plenty of space to host events and functions with fabulous features around the property. The Grand Salon is an eye-catching ballroom, perfect for elegant events. With a hosting capacity of around 80 people for dinner, the Grand Salon features a chateau fireplace, and wrought iron and stone staircase. The Grand Salon is complemented by the connecting vestry and bar (corkage not charged). A professional kitchen is set up for caterers and guests hosting private events.
Perfect for wedding ceremonies, the Fountain Lawn is lined by olives trees and white flowering laurel. It also features a beautiful white pergola, fantastic for romantic wedding photos. The Fountain Lawn can be set up for intimate or large ceremonies, or as a fantastic location for pre-dinner reception cocktails and canapés. For events, traditional games can be set out on the lawns including boules, quoits, Aunt Sally, and croquet.
There is a secret garden located just past the lily pond and features relaxing seating and picnic areas. The woods sit alongside the stream that runs on the lower part of the grounds. In exploring the area you will be delighted to find a number of cute and romantic spots perfect for a little natural peace and tranquillity. If you wish to have your ceremony under the trees then all things are possible!
The French Maison is in the process of developing a boutique private gym which will be equipped with top of the range equipment, including a Peloton bike, Peloton treadmill, weights and floor work accessories.
This picturesque maison is situated in a prime location in the region, just 10 minutes drive from the vibrant and popular bastide of Eymet, full of restaurants and bars, 5 minutes from a prestigious Chateau with a 27 hole golf course and Michelin Star restaurant, superb local vineyards and eateries, 15 minutes from the Dordogne River, 30 minutes from some of the most famous wine appellations in the world including Saint Emilion, Pomerol, and Monbazillac, and just over an hour from the historic and stylish city of Bordeaux.
