The Romantic Chateau provides an idyllic, romantic environment for your wedding. This fairytale chateau dates from the 15th century, in fact, the first named inhabitant, lived here in 1494! The place is full of history both inside and out, however, tasteful renovations have blended the ancient and the new with style and verve. We offer an intimate wedding venue for up to 60 guests on a "self-catering" basis which allows you to manage your own celebration and we can provide a list of local suppliers to help you along the way if required. Our offer is a 2 or 3 night stay for up to 20 guests and exclusive use of the chateau, donjon (party barn), games room/bar, grounds, gardens and magnificent 12m x 6m pool (in season) .
Wedding Day
If you choose to hold your ceremony at the chateau, we have our pretty "Sky Garden" complete with pergola or our ancient "Donjon" as venues, or for smaller gatherings, the impressive chateau salon. The Donjon provides the ideal location for your party, accommodating up to 60 seated guests.
Food & Drink
We can offer catering on site for up to 60 guests or you can choose your own caterer. We do not charge corkage, so you are free to provide your own drinks or ask your caterer to supply them. If required, we can provide a breakfast buffet to your guests.
Accommodation
In total, up to 20 of your friends and family can stay on site. Up to 12 guests can be accommodated in the chateau itself in 2 significant suites off the turret staircase and a third ground floor bedroom - all have en-suite facilities. In addition, a newly renovated gite provides a contemporary stylish place to stay for up to 6 guests and the self contained studio sleeps 2. We have links to local hotels and chambres d'hôtes for the rest of your guests and coach services, so no one has to drive!
Other facilities
Nearby is a local ancient 12-century church, available for wedding services and an English priest to celebrate your marriage in France. There is also ample parking and wi-fi available. We have contacts for all your wedding needs - just ask us for more information and to discuss prices.
Exclusive use of Chateau venue and accommodation for up to 22 people for 2 nights from €2300. Catering options for your Wedding Breakfast are available on site for up to 60 people, starting at €35 per head.
