The north tower of the castle suffered a catastrophe in 1962 when a fire ravaged most of the interior and the roof of the castle. It lay in ruins till 2019, when it was given new life with local materials originating from the estate. The estate now boasts of :

They would create their own blend of Bordeaux wine from a variety of vats ,put it into bottles, cork it and finally label it with a personalised label saying something like "The day just got better with your presence - Mr. and Mrs. Newlyweds"! The Chateau is believed to be producing wine since the early 15th century. Today, the estate produces 2 white wines, 3 reds and a rosé. A conscious effort has been made towards sustainability and the environment. Thanks to photovoltaic panels, the estate produces 3 times more electricity than its annual consumption. Around fifty thousand litres of water is harvested from rainfall and is used to clean agricultural machines and to treat diseases in the vineyard. These efforts have been recognised by the certification - High Environmental Value Level 3.
The Château doesn't propose rooms but thanks to its tourism success, it has given rise to numerous guest houses and "airbnb" rentals around it perfect for you and your guests. Hotels are located from 5 to 15 mins from the estate. A shuttle service can be organised to facilitate the transport. We have partners for all kinds of services including caterers, transport, wedding planners, decorators, etc who can relieve you of the burden of organising everything yourself.
