Only 30 minutes from Bordeaux and set in lovely grounds with an abundance of picturesque 'photo opportunity' backdrops, this is the perfect venue for the perfect wedding celebration.

Steeped in history, this stunning 15th century chateau positively oozes character & charm! What better entrance can a bride dream of than to descend the historic monumental steps to their wedding party?

The picture perfect lake at doubles up as a perfect location for some stunning wedding photography, as well as providing a glorious spot to take a romantic stroll after the wedding ceremony. ​There are then multiple other options for the location of the ceremony - on the lawn by the lake, on the lawn on the 3rd terrace, in the quaint private chapel or at the local Catholic church

​And where will you and your guests dine and dance the night away? The three beautiful terraces and several internal dining spaces are yours to choose from!

The Chateau has 22 en-suite and air-conditioned bedrooms - one of which is the bridal suite with private terrace and hot tub, which means your wedding party can relax in the Chateau before and after your wedding. The chateau also boasts a swimming pool, fishing lake, snooker table and golf practice area. There is also a cave network for the more adventurous!

The resident wedding planner at the chateau, can create a bespoke wedding package for you, whether for a spectacular large weekend event or for an intimate day. For the actual wedding planning itself, the Chateau and our onsite wedding planner, have been busy planning weddings since 2004 and have overseen over 200 weddings at the Chateau. The team are used to organising a wide variety of wedding celebrations, and are keen to create the perfect bespoke wedding for you.

We offer an all-inclusive package dealing with every aspect of your wedding! The prices are as follows based on 50 guests and the use of the 22 en-suite bedrooms:

  • Low Season – Price from 24150€ November to April excluding Xmas and New Year
  • Mid Season – Price from 26200-27700€ May , June , September , October
  • High Season - Price from 28200-28700€ for July & August

Location

Ah, Nouvelle-Aquitaine! Home to Aquitaine, Limousin and Poitou-Charentes. This is quite possibly the ideal wedding destination for any happy couple.

Aquitaine is home to Bordeaux and it is more than possible for you to get married near to the breath-taking Dordogne, or even near the Basque Villages. This is along the Spanish border and there is so much for you to see and do. The hot springs that are in Nouvelle-Aquitaine are not to be missed and this is great if you want to pamper yourself after the big day. Poitou-Charentes is on the Atlantic Coast and the sandy white beaches are culturally stimulating ad the most beautiful location to get married in France. Famous for its beautiful architecture as well as its incredible food and wine, This region has it all. Castles from yesteryear adorn every hilltop and the region is a must for anyone who enjoys their food. Local specilaities include truffles, foie gras, prunes and of course wine, so every wedding will be full of amazing cuisine and your guests will not be disappointed. If it is the classic French chateau that you are after for your wedding in France then you have to conside Nouvelle Aquitaine and the surrounding areas!

Of course, you also have the Marias Poitevan wetlands, and this is not to be missed either. You can get to this area via train and flights also run to this area as well. This is easily one of the most beautiful areas for wedding venues in the whole of France and the activities there include horse riding, wine-tasting and relaxing on some of the sandy shores. The region features many destinations with cultural and touristic significance locations like the Citadel of Blaye, Saint-Emilion, La Rochelle, Aquarium, Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat. All of these areas have a rich historical background that could be considered when choosing wedding venues in the region. Nothing can quite compare to the experience you will get when you visit this location, and it is one of the best places for you to say those special words, “I Do!”.

  • We booked our wedding at this Chateau without seeing it, and even though it was scary, it was absolutely the best decision we made! We had guests from different continents and everyone enjoyed their stay over there. The rooms are big and very beautiful, vanities are modern and new. The swimming pool was great addition. Anna made wedding planning very easy, just listen to what she said and you will not to worry about anything else. Everything was perfectly organized for 3 days: we had paella for rehearsal dinner and it was just phenomenal! For Sunday we had wine tour to St Emilion and BBQ - and it was great! I would highly recommend doing it.

    Now wedding day: everything was perfectly organized, from the hair to photographer, Anna was always around making sure that everything is fine and you are on schedule! We booked fireworks and it was worth every dollar, it was beautiful! Food was good and even though I was skeptical about French wedding cake (it does not look like your typical wedding cake), it was so delicious that not even one piece was left behind. Anna and the whole team were absolutely amazing and everyone sincerely enjoyed the chateau! Our wedding was flawless!
