This beautiful and romantic 17th Century Chateau is a wedding venue in the Dordogne region of France.

The owners fell in love with this Chateau in 2005 and decided at that point to turn the chateau into a lovely home that they could share with others. Having both owned and run successful companies in the UK and France, they knew that this stunning wedding venue provided them with an opportunity to offer this slice of paradise in France to couples planning their magical day.

Set in the heart of a Domaine surrounded by parkland, we offer exclusive use of our 17th Century chateau with private chapel, lovely gardens, pool and terrace so that you can invite your friends and family to your wonderful and romantic wedding in rural France.

We will work with you to create a wedding package that includes all of the luxury and romance that you associate with a French Chateau wedding.

Our Personal Wedding Package offers a dedicated wedding planner to help take care of the details, exclusive use of the Chateau reception rooms, the private Chapel and grounds so you can experience this truly romantic venue for your special day. We know you want everything to look gorgeous on your wedding day. Relax in the experienced hands of our bi-lingual French wedding planner who will take care of the essentials and add a finishing touch of luxury befitting a beautiful bride.

We have beautiful private accommodation of 10 ensuite bedrooms available for up to 20 people and a few children within the Chateau and Lodge.

Located within easy driving distance of international airports, Bergerac and Bordeaux, we are also close to Angouleme for those who prefer to arrive on the TGV from Paris.

As we only host a handful of weddings a year you can be assured that every detail is taken care of so that from the first moment at this exclusive wedding venue you can relax and enjoy yourselves. Location

Ah, Nouvelle-Aquitaine! Home to Aquitaine, Limousin and Poitou-Charentes. This is quite possibly the ideal wedding destination for any happy couple.

Aquitaine is home to Bordeaux and it is more than possible for you to get married near to the breath-taking Dordogne, or even near the Basque Villages. This is along the Spanish border and there is so much for you to see and do. The hot springs that are in Nouvelle-Aquitaine are not to be missed and this is great if you want to pamper yourself after the big day. Poitou-Charentes is on the Atlantic Coast and the sandy white beaches are culturally stimulating ad the most beautiful location to get married in France. Famous for its beautiful architecture as well as its incredible food and wine, This region has it all. Castles from yesteryear adorn every hilltop and the region is a must for anyone who enjoys their food. Local specilaities include truffles, foie gras, prunes and of course wine, so every wedding will be full of amazing cuisine and your guests will not be disappointed. If it is the classic French chateau that you are after for your wedding in France then you have to conside Nouvelle Aquitaine and the surrounding areas!

Of course, you also have the Marias Poitevan wetlands, and this is not to be missed either. You can get to this area via train and flights also run to this area as well. This is easily one of the most beautiful areas for wedding venues in the whole of France and the activities there include horse riding, wine-tasting and relaxing on some of the sandy shores. The region features many destinations with cultural and touristic significance locations like the Citadel of Blaye, Saint-Emilion, La Rochelle, Aquarium, Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat. All of these areas have a rich historical background that could be considered when choosing wedding venues in the region. Nothing can quite compare to the experience you will get when you visit this location, and it is one of the best places for you to say those special words, “I Do!”.

  • We had our wedding at this beautiful venue in July and had an absolutely wonderful time.

    We had an incredible wedding day; Janet and Gerry and the team work really hard and everything exceeded our expectations. The wedding meal was really impressive; the food and wine were absolutely delicious. Everything ran smoothly, the venue looked beautiful and we had an amazing day - it was everything that we hoped for and more.

    We hired the Chateau and lodge for 5 nights. The property is extremely old and whilst it could benefit in places from some updating, it is full of character and the grounds are beautiful. For us, it was about the setting and the wedding day, which were exactly what we wanted, and the accommodation was perfectly acceptable.

    We had a great stay and there is loads to see in the region if you have a car. The weather was fantastic so we really made use of the swimming pool which was lovely.

    If you are looking for a laid back wedding in a stunning picturesque surrounding with great food and wine, this is what you will get and you won’t be disappointed!

  • Our son from Australia has just held his wedding at this beautiful Chateau, together with guests from around the world. What an occasion it was! Janet & Gerry certainly know how to host a wedding at their beautiful chateau. The setting, the flowers, the service, the staff, the magnificent faultless banquet, all contributed to the perfect day followed by a great casual event on Sunday in the chateau grounds.
