This lovely old complex of buildings dating from 1712, including its former Cognac distillery, is built around a large, enclosed, classic Charentais courtyard.
It is near the small river Né and in the midst of the vines of the Grande Champagne Cognac region, secluded yet just thirty minutes from the large cities of Cognac and Angoulême.
A renovated 18th-century wing provides five highly comfortable and spacious chambre d’hotes with ensuite bathrooms. Within the courtyard, there are three luxury self-catering cottages, an outdoor swimming pool, and walled gardens.
YOUR EVENT
The venue can cater for up to 100 guests in the beautiful reception room or more if you choose to have a marquee in the grounds.
The function room forms part of the 19th-century cognac distillery buildings and would have been used to house cognac barrels. The stunning renovated space has been transformed into an exceptional reception room for your celebration for up to one hundred guests. The space also has ladies, gents, and disabled toilet facilities and access to the private bar.
The estate also lends itself perfectly to an outdoor wedding in the glorious Charentais sunshine, with the swimming pool and walled gardens offering perfect photo opportunities and backdrops for your day.

ACCOMMODATION
The venue sleeps a total of 27 guests across beautiful ensuite bedrooms and three charming cottages, creating the ideal configuration for friends and family staying together.
Four of our spacious Bed & Breakfast rooms each have Super King-size beds and we have one twin room (room Ancolie) with two single beds, all rooms have en suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have tea-making facilities, towels hairdryers, and access to a guest kitchen with a fridge and honesty bar. Full continental style breakfast is included.
We offer three beautifully converted cottages, ideal for families. A high degree of comfort and privacy is offered for visitors within each cottage, with very generous bathroom facilities, and guests can use all the facilities. Two houses are both two-bedroom cottages and the third is a 3 bedroom cottage. All three cottages are the perfect place to with family or friends in the beautiful Charente.
THE SWIMMING POOL
Guests have the use of the Logis du Paradis’ private heated saltwater swimming pool in the Summer, located in a secluded and sunny enclosed garden with chairs, tables, and sun loungers. There are assorted inflatables and water toys for the children. The pool garden has a doorway through into the walled park as well as an entrance into the private bar area. Access to the pool garden is restricted for the security of children via locked gates. The pool garden is available for evening meals and BBQs during the summer.
THE PARK
The Park which is now laid to grass used to be a huge potager. The two acres of the park have now all been laid to grass. The fully walled park area is the ideal place for children to run free it has a treehouse and swing, ride on’s to use, and Pétanque. There are two lovely avenues of Lime and Hornbeam trees offering some shaded areas to relax and read or picnic. Guests staying in the Beehouse have a unique terrace overlooking the park and get to enjoy the full stunning sunsets.
FOOD & DRINK
Breakfast is served to bed and breakfast guests either in the guests, dining room, or on the south-facing terrace overlooking the Logis courtyard. Breakfast includes fresh fruit juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, French bread and croissants, butter, jams, and of course our delicious own honey, and tea coffee or hot chocolate. We are happy to recommend and make reservations for you at local restaurants should you wish.
