Whatever your dream may be, we have many options. If you need a wedding planner, we offer that too.

Originally built as an 11th century mansion overlooking the Dordogne valley, the current building was restored in the nineteenth century in an inspired revival resulting in this fairy tale chateau.

The chateau has an extraordinary history in its millennia. It played a role in the 14th century During the Hundred Years War by harbouring soldiers and providing a strategic location for observation.

The Chateau is ideally located for your exploration of this extraordinary region which contains over a thousand chateaux, many Michelin restaurants, famous markets, Knight Templar citadels and not to mention the overwhelming number of activities in the region – canoeing, cycling, rock climbing, hot air ballooning and many, many more.

The Chateau offers many luxurious and classic living spaces as well as nine highly appointed bedroom suites, sleeping 18 guests, all overlooking the Dordogne valley. Each bedroom suite has a theme and every detail has been carefully matched. The first floor of the chateau has bedroom suites from the renaissance era and the second floor has bedroom suites of the medieval era, representing the different eras of the chateaus existence:

  • Simply incredible in every possible way!

The owners have restored this stunning historic castle to it's full glory sympathetically and yet including every high end mod con, from the top of the range cooker in the kitchen, to the copper roll top bath (that I have been coveting myself for some time!) - every bathroom is exquisite (most of them set in their own round tower)

The multiple rooms include a stone vaulted kitchen breakfast room, a dining room fit for The Knights of the Templar, multiple reception rooms including a huge library room and at least 10 bedroom suites that are ALL exquisite! I stayed in the Royal Suite with the bedroom in a tower with stone mullion windows and the original stained glass tacked onto the stone and I felt like a true Princess, waking up to view over her vast lands!

The setting is just extraordinary, the front facade and terrace command a breathtaking view over the valley down the river with virtually a 270 degree panoramic view that keeps your entertained for hours. The surrounding woodland, flora and fauna are so lush that it creates a morning mist that is so beautiful that you think you have been teleported to a fairytale enchanted castle.

The owners, who are as equally as enchanting, went out of their way to look after with a level of kindness and professionalism that is second to none.

  • Words cannot describe the beauty and majesty of this Chateau. From the bedrooms there is a spectacular view of the Dordogne river and the region dotted with lovely villages, the grounds are impeccably maintained with trees, flowers and an outdoor pool. The kitchen is massive and well-equipped for cooking elaborate meals. And the terrace is perfect for a celebratory dinner overlooking the valley. Our stay was unforgettable
