The Château was built in 1780 by the Decroix family. The 9 hectare wooded estate hosts century-old trees as well as protected plant and animal species. Punctuated with vestiges of old lime kilns and access ramps, this unique place has an authentic character.
The park has been classified as a "Historic Site" since 1943 and in the grounds there are two Roman bridges, remains from the Middle Ages and protected plant and animal species.
The Château is well situated close to a TGV station and motorway links.
The park has, among other things, a swimming pool, a "guinguette" area with different outdoor games such as petanque, molkky, ping pong and my others and a 3 hectares of meadows which face the castle and are suitable for a range of outdoor activities and also provide the perfect space for your ceremony or reception.

• Working towards events which are Eco Responsible, with zero waste and a controlled carbon footprint.
• Develop an experimental farm project within the Château. On an area of one hectare, 100 fruit trees will be planted from the end of 2020 and the first foundations of market gardening production will be laid in spring 2021.

Believe it or not, the Chateaux of the Loire was actually founded in the Centre region of France, and not in Pays de la Loire. That being said, that does not mean that this isn’t one of the most spectacular wedding destinations around.
