Dating to the 16th century, this historic chateau in Limousin is an ideal venue for your wedding celebrations.
You will receive the warmest of welcomes from your hosts, who will make sure you have everything you need to make your wedding and the rest of your stay go smoothly for you and your guests.
From the sprawling gardens, beautiful lake and tranquil pool, to the majestic backdrop of the chateau and the recently renovated rooms, enjoy a relaxing and historic setting for your special day.
Whatever season you choose to wed, reconnect with nature, though the inspirational spring blooms of the fruit trees. and rhododendron, the joy of summer and its wild flowers and hydrangeas to the stunning autumnal colours of trees, ferns and heather and the crisp clear days of winter.
The chateau's interior has gorgeous wooden floors and panelling, complemented by impressive fireplaces and comfortable furnishings, which make an excellent option for an intimate wedding.
For fun or relaxation, we have a heated swimming pool. It has wide shallow sides at one end, ideal for younger children. The pool is fenced and has sunbeds and a pretty garden. We provide beach towels on request. There is an unsupervised play area. We also have picnic tables for you to enjoy a lazy lunch or a dinner al fresco.
The comfortable living room boasts a lovely carved wooden fireplace surrounded by plenty of seating. Meanwhile, the dining room has an impressive stone fireplace, and is surrounded by many tables and chairs.
Before and after your big day:
There is plenty of outdoor seating where you can relax; perhaps beside the lake with a book, or in front of the Château with a glass of wine.
Guests can explore the beautiful grounds and relax by the lakes, and pause to enjoy the cool sweet waters of our own spring.
For the more adventurous, the larger lake is suitable for swimming. Catch and release fishing is also allowed.
There is also a charming kitchen garden and fruit trees.

Honeymoon Suite: A romantic room in the square tower, with a modern queen size four poster bed, it has a lovely south facing balcony with a spectacular view. It is lilac and white with a chestnut floor. Leading off the entrance hall, is a dressing room area with a daybed and the bathroom is adjacent. Sleeps two, plus a younger child, and a cot can also be added.
Hydrangea Suite: This suite is decorated in the traditional French style with fabric-lined walls and details, echoing the blooming hydrangeas, with oak panelling and a high beamed ceiling. There is a Breton library which was made for the restoration of the castle as well as an imposing bed and wardrobe. This bedroom has a magnificent chandelier that is both purple and pure crystal. This was originally the first floor living room, and therefore boasts a monumental fireplace, where you can still sit and imagine board games in progress. The stained-glass windows overlook the meadow behind the castle. This suite has a tower on its corner, which now houses part of the modern but classic bathroom with lovely chestnut floors. The bathroom has a tub and a shower. The suite has a double bed and a slatted sofa bed. It can also accommodate a single bed and / or an additional baby cot on request.
Grand Suite: Originally the Master bedroom in the Château, this room features a marble fireplace, oak floors and sweeping south facing views of the park. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed. A second bedroom has twin beds and leading off the children's room, there is a small baby's room with a cot and changing station. The bathroom is generously sized and has an enormous bath. Sleeps four, plus a cot.
Beamed Suite:
Perhaps our quirkiest room, decorated in art deco style with a living area with large low windows, leading to the bedroom in the round tower. The room features a stunning stained glass skylight created by a local artist. There is a sofa bed and ensuite. Sleeps three, plus a cot
Governess Room: A double room with an additional day bed with ensuite.
The Catalpa Cottage: A self catering cottage 50 meters away from the Château, with two bedrooms. It has a well equipped kitchen and open plan living area. Sleeping 4 guests.
The Cedre Cottage: A self catering cottage 15 meters away from the Château, once an artist's studio, has two bedrooms. A light filled kitchen and living area looks out to a magnificent cedar tree. Sleeping 4 guests.
Additionally there is one more cottage which sleeps 6 guests just down the road totalling accomodation for 31.
