Our medieval chateau is bursting with charm making it the perfect back-drop to your wedding celebration. Greet your guests with a drink in the delightful courtyard, process down the natural aisle to the 17th Century Pigeonnier for your wedding ceremony, pop some corks and enjoy canapes at the garden bar, dine at long tables on the lawn, and dance the night away in the outside barn.
Because we want your day to be unique we don’t tie you to an in-house planner nor do we require that you use any in-house services. This leaves you with the flexibility to arrange your wedding totally yourself or we can recommend a few tried and trusted planners who we enjoy working with and we’re sure you will too.
To take the stress out of arranging logistical issues here in France, and leaving you free to focus on the fun, creative elements, we provide a wedding package that includes tables and chairs, table ware and linen, lighting, sound systems for DJs or devices and for speeches, and set-up and coordination support on your wedding day. We can also recommend English-speaking caterers, celebrants, hair stylists and make-up artists, flowers, musicians and DJs and more.
We limit our capacity to 120 people because we know, that should we ever have to switch to Plan B, you can carry on celebrating your wedding in style indoors without you incurring any last minute, costly additional expenses.
In addition to being a stunning back-drop to your celebration, the Chateau is a wonderfully peaceful, comfortable place to enjoy time-out with your friends and family. The Chateau is not a stuffy turrets and towers venue, it is somewhere you can relax and feel at home.
There is accommodation for up to 28 adults with 10 en-suite, double rooms and 2 single rooms in the Main House, a double and twin bedroom with shared bathroom in the Cottage, and a Yurt with a double bed for those who love to glamp.
The entire ground floor of the house (including 2 bedrooms) and gardens are wheelchair accessible, and we are child and dog friendly.
The Château is nestled among rolling hills in the Gers in South West France, overlooking fields and woods with the Pyrenees mountains beyond. It is a rural idyll yet less than an hour from well-connected Toulouse (Blagnac) airport and 15 minutes away from all essential amenities.
